Book your digital season pass now for The Sydney International Online Piano Competition

Have you bought your digital season pass for the Sydney International Online Piano Competition?  One of the few international music competitions still proceeding in 2021, The Sydney is going full steam ahead and the first video submissions from the 32 competitors have begun to arrive.

July will be nearly a whole month of exciting piano to enjoy from the safety of your home – no masks required, no steamed-up glasses.

What does your digital season pass include? Access to the Online Competition’s 29 sessions, pre-recorded and judged prior to July, and broadcast over three weeks.

  • Preliminary Round – 40-min solo recitals: Fri 2–Fri 9 July | Each two-hour session contains two competitors.
  • Semi Final Round – 50-min solo recitals: Sat 10–Thu 15 July | Each two-hour session contains two of 12 semi-finalists.
  • Final Round – 80-min solo recitals: Fri 16–Sun 18 July | Each 100-minute session is one of the six finalists.
  • The Winners and prizes will be announced in a separate session on Sunday 18 July.

Catch up on missed sessions or watch your favourites again on-demand for up to 3 months. A free digital program book will ensure you can keep track of who’s who and who gets through.

Only online passholders can watch the 2021 action. There will be no ABC radio broadcast or free webstream in 2021. Purchase your online pass to witness these amazing young musicians from across the globe presenting their individually curated competitive recitals.

$350 for General Public | $315 for Friends of The Sydney
